Indian Wedding

Types of Indian Weddings

Marathi

Maharashtrian weddings are filled with various pujas and religious rituals - but we are here to make the whole process simple and easy to understand.

Gujrati

Gujaratis or the people of Gujarat are known for their rich, vibrant and colorful culture. Moreover, they are warm and cheerful, who are fond of celebrating festivals with fervor. This is quite evident in a Gujarati marriage as well.

South Indian

It is very difficult to generalise a "South Indian wedding". A Kerala wedding is very different from a Tamilnadu wedding and within the states each community has a different set of rituals for weddings.

Christian

Christian weddings are known for their sobriety and elegance. The bride’s white wedding gown, the flower decorations at the church, the gorgeous bridesmaids and the cute flower girls, all together make a Christian wedding a treat to the eye

Punjabi

Punjabi wedding traditions are a strong reflection of Punjabi culture with ritual, song, dance, food, and dress that have evolved over centuries.

Bengali

A Bengali wedding (Bengali: à¦¬à¦¿à¦¯à¦¼à§‡, বিবাহ) includes many rituals and ceremonies that can span several days. In most cases, it starts with the Kabin ceremony (the official registration of the wedding and presenting Denmohor or Mahr) and ends with the Bou Bhat ceremony
